Why not delete the contents of the Windows.old folder.

The Windows.old folder contents can be deleted without any negative effect on your Windows OS.

It likely takes up quite a few gigabytes of storage space.

Okay what do you mean Windows old folder? I don't know what you mean? I'm sorry I know a little bit about this stuff but not a whole lot! I appreciate your help so much! Cause HP Support is no help!

Type Windows.old in the search box to find it.

You might find the tutorial at the link below useful.

You might just be at the point where you would be better off copying everything important to your USB flash drive.

Make sure you have the activation keys for your productivity software and then perform a reset of Windows. See the tutorial at the link below.

https://www.google.com/search?q=Reset+Windows+11&oq=Reset+Windows+11&gs_lcrp=EgZjaHJvbWUyBggAEEUYOdI...

If you do that, you will have plenty of space on your internal SSD. Reinstall your productivity software or use the online free version.

For the future, make sure that you never go above 85% of the maximum storage capacity of your storage devices.

Fir the next laptop you purchase, always choose an SSD capacity of 512 GB or more. Never choose less than that, unless you are only using a laptop to browse the web and for email and social web apps.
