Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

My laptop caps and num lock indicator lights are blinking and the screen is blank. I've done all the hard resets and pressed all the keys people online said to press, but it's not coming on. I opened my wireless network panel beneath my laptop and touched the tape holding the 4th and 5th wire tubes down, and the indicator light for the wireless network turned blue and the screen came on. When I turned it over, the laptop suddenly went off. When it came back on, the wireless network indicator light was orange again and the blinking resumed.

 

The tape holding the wires down is worn and I tried to put in a new tape but the screen is still blank and the blinking still continues.
