HP 255 G5
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

I have this laptop: HP 255 G5 and i want to change my HDD and upgrade it to an NVMe M2 SSD (TOSHIBA RC500, 250 GB).

My question is does my Laptop support this type of ssd , if the required adapter is installed.

Thanks in advance.

If you open the maintenance and service manual from here it looks like that the device is supporting a M.2 SATA SSD but not a NVMe SSD.

So you can only use a SATA SSD but no NVMe SSD if I read that correctly.
