I have a laptop with 1 tb harddisk and want to add a ssd to it i want to know that if there is any m2 slot to use nvme ssd and i also want to know can i use the ssd without removing my hdd my laptop model is 15-dw3000 (1A3X9AV)

Since I don't work for or represent HP, I have no idea what they are doing lately with the model numbers.
It used to be easy to figure out, now it is very hard, and it is also hard to find a relevant service manual for the actual hardware your notebook comes with.

As I indicated earlier, your notebook has a M.2 slot that supports NVMe SSD's, and you can use it along with the hard drive, but you have to use the hard drive for storage, not for the operating system when you want the operating system on a NVMe SSD.

Unfortunately, there is only the service manual for the older models on your notebook's support page, so the information may be a bit outdated.

However, according to the older manual, your notebook has a M.2 slot that supports NVMe SSD's and dual storage configurations.

Thank you very much for the reply but i have confusion with model numbers on my laptop cardboard the model number is hp 15s-dr3001TU but i didnt found this model from search and i tried with product number it displayed as dw-3000 and also used the tool of hp to check the laptop model number it shows dw-3000 only but i have confusion between this both which model number should i consider?
