And as far as i know ram can be up to 2666mhz and it doesnt really matter what company i will buy from. Is it correct? Also can i add hdd or ssd only? Thanks in advance.

The specs of your machine is
https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06427765
1. RAM: It has 8 GB DDR4-2666 SDRAM (1 x 8 GB) and supports 32GB (2 x 18GB) max. You can upgrade to
(a) 16GB: add same 8GB to slot 2 or using following compatible RAM
https://www.crucial.com/memory/ddr4/ct8g4sfs8266/ct16339541
(b) 32GB: install 16GB each to both slots using following compatible RAM
https://www.crucial.com/memory/ddr4/ct2k16g4sfd8266/ct16339611
2. STORAGE: It has 256 GB PCIe® NVMe™ M.2 SSD now, you have 2 options
(a) Upgrade M.2 SSD to larger (capacity), say 1TB or 2TB drive using
https://www.samsung.com/au/memory-storage/970-evo-nvme-m2-ssd/MZ-V7E2T0BW/
https://www.crucial.com/products/ssd/crucial-p2-ssd
Or similar from reputable vendors.
(b) Add 2.5" SATA HDD/SSD to your machine but you need 2 parts
The hard drive cable is available using spare part number L56898-001
The hard drive brackets are not available as a spare part. (this is the killer)
Looks like you only have one choice.
