I want to find out what the maximum speed is supported by memory standard. I have now 8 GB DDR4-2400, but I want to replace it to 16 GB (2*8). Should I buy 2600 or 3200 DDR4, or only 2400 ?
Features of my Laptop:
Intel® Core™ i5-8250U (1.6 GHz base frequency, up to 3.4 GHz with Intel® Turbo Boost Technology, 6 MB cache, 4 cores)
Motherboard: HP 84BF (Intel corp., Sunrise point LPC/eSPI controller)

Your notebook's Intel® Core™ i5-8250U processor can only run the memory at a maximum speed of 2400 MHz.
Intel Core i58250U Processor 6M Cache up to 3.40 GHz Product Specifications
You can install a faster speed memory, (DDR4-2666 CL19, or DDR4-3200 CL22) but it will only run at 2400 MHz.
