I want to know does my laptop has M2 SSD OR NVME support or not ? If possible please refer productss

Hi,

The service manual does mention support for M2 SATA3 SSD such as the M2 Samsung 860 Evo or similar. However, before buying the drive you need to check if the slot is present on the motherboard as sometimes in notebooks that did not come with M2 SSD the physical slot is missing.

 

On page 45 of service manual you can see the steps to remove the bottom cover and take a look.

So, if the slot is there you can install an M2 SATA3 SSD. If the slot is not there you can replace the 2.5" Hard Drive in the notebook with a 2.5" SATA3 SSD such as the 2.5" Crucial MX500 or similar.

It will give a great boost to the everyday performance of the PC.
