I suffered a problem about three months ago which is that wifi disconnect while I am working and I tried many steps including reset of the network settings, upto to windows install (with keeping files). I bought recently external wifi adaptor and problem disappeared so I suppose I have a damaged wifi card. Know I though of replacing it with a dual band good card. how can I know which adaptor compatible with my laptop. does mine has two antenna?

Hi:
Since your notebook only has one antenna wire connected to the Realtek Wi-Fi card it has, the only Wi-Fi adapter you can easily upgrade to is this one:
Realtek RTL8821CE 802.11 ac 1x1 Wi-Fi + Bluetooth 4.2 Combo Adapter (MU-MIMO supported) HP part # L17365-005.
The card has a maximum throughput of 433 MBPS on the 5.0 GHz Wi-Fi band with an AC router and an excellent signal.
