Here is the Service Manual:
The laptop does have an MXM slot so you can take out the K1000M card and install a different one. HP offered it with a K2000M or AMD Firepro M4000.
Each different video card has its own fan and heatsink part.
This is what your K1000M looks like:

The GTX 660M MXM card looks a bit different:

Likely at a minimum your cooling fan and heatsink will not fit it and worst case it will not fit in the space available. All 3 of the cards used in your laptop are the shorter form factor. I am going to say the project is not going to work.

I understand what you want to do but it has to be supported by the hardware. MXM video cards are not as interchangeable as desktop video cards.
Your laptop uses the MXM 3.0a form factor and there just is not a good gaming card produced in that form factor. The Firepro M4000 and K2000M are about as good as it gets and they are engineering not gaming cards.
