Product: HP Laptop - 15-ef0022nr
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

  I'm trying to upgrade my HP Laptop. I bought it from a friend. It has a AMD Ryzen 7 with a Radeon built in Graphics card. I've bought 8gb of ram and the laptop freezes on boot-up and wont accept the ram. I bought: Crucial DDR4-3200 SODIMM 1.2V CL22. I've checked the bios but I must be missing something. What are the steps to upgrading this AMD chipset? 

Thanking anyone in advance. It came with 8gb and I'm just wanting to add 8gb more.  The OS is Windows 11 Home.
