I want to upgrade my HP 15-BS576tx laptop with SSD and RAM.

I have shortlisted following products. Are they both compatible?

If not then please suggest the compatible or better options. TIA.

Hi:

Yes, you should be fine with both of those selections, but you may want to spend a little more money and get the Crucial MX500 SSD because it has faster read/write speeds than the BX500.

The 2666 MHz memory will automatically bridge to 2133 MHz because that is as fast as your notebook's processor can run the memory at.

Also, you should be aware that your notebook has a M.2 slot that supports a M.2 2280 SATA SSD, which you could install and use the 2.5" mechanical hard drive for additional storage if you wanted.

If you want to do that, a suggested M.2 SSD would be a Western Digital Blue SA510 SATA SSD

Thank you for the response. I wanted to understand that if I use BX500 or MX500 then will my existing HDD need to be removed or will that be used by replacing DVD writer? DVD writer is non-usable however I still want to keep my existing HDD.

You're very welcome.

If you want to keep your existing drive, then installing a M.2 SATA SSD is a much better way to do that then buying a caddy to install a 2.5" drive.

The older model on the page is has a slightly faster write speed than the new model and costs a few Rs less.
