Hi ,  I am looking to get the HDD changed to SSD and potentially upgrade the RAM from 4GB to potentially more.

Can any one please let me know whether I can get the RAM extending to beyond 4GB and can Iinstall an SSD?  If yes then what is the maximum RAM and SSD that this laptop can be extended to and what is the type of SSD?

Details of my laptop are as below:

Hi:

Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.

HP 15 Laptop PC Maintenance and Service Guide

Chapter 1 has the memory upgrade information and supported drive types.

Your notebook can support 2 x 8 GB of memory.

Your notebook has a M.2 slot that can support both a NVMe or a SATA M.2 2280 SSD.

NVMe SSD's have faster read/write speeds than SATA SSD's have.

Upto how much I can install a nvme with along 1tb hdd??

HP Recommended

HP offered 256 GB NVMe SSD's with the dual drive configuration.

That is normally only what was offered in the model series, not the maximum capacity supported, so you should be able to install a larger capacity NVMe SSD if you wanted to.
