hello, I want to upgrade my hp pavilion g7 2200sr laptop, replace the processor, now it costs amd A4-3400m. In priority, I consider replacing it with amd A10-5757m, the sockets are the same, the bios has been updated to the latest version. will it work or not? Judging by the information on the Internet, it should work, I did not find detailed information. if not, which one will fit exactly? thanks in advance.

Hi:

 

According to the service manual in chapter 1, that the best processor HP indicates is supported would be the AMD A10-4600M.

I did find this discussion where a forum member successfully installed an AMD A10-5757M processor in their HP G7-2292nr and reported that it worked just fine.
