Product: hp 2009 pc

I want to upgrade my old pc and turn it into a gaming pc or at least a pc that can handle playing the sims 3, disgaea series and atelier series games as I love those games/game series. Also I've been having an issue with my RAM not staying slotted no matter what I do so i'm thinking of upgrading my motherboard and cpu any suggestions?

Sorry, please saving more money and buy a new machine, you can NOT use an old bicycle to compete on a GP race.
