So i got this gaming laptop from my friend (great guy). and i want to replace the battery on it. The battery right now is currently ehh. probably get 2-3 hours of office work done and that's it. So I want to try and get a bigger battery that is compatible with my device, the issue is, I don't what will be compatible with my laptop at all, I just wanna be able to use the laptop without having to be plugged in 24/7 😭😭. Currently the battery I think is 4400 mah at 52.5 wh. Anything about 5000 mah or more will be great, doesn't need to be that much better, as long as I can stay away from the charger and I don't need to check my percentage every 10 minutes will be helpful. Thanks 🙏

as far as i know no extended cell battery pack is made for this laptop 2 to 3hr for a gaming laptop is about average so i don't recommend replacing the existing battery at this time

your laptop is not a workstation or business class so this really is not the correct forum to post in with that said your model laptops battery specs are Voltage: 11.55V. Capacity: 52.5Wh/3-Cell. Battery Type: Li-Polymer.

many 3rd party batteries are not of the same quality as a HP OEM battery and as such usually have a shorter runtime which is why they usually sell for a cheaper price

batteries that use Sanyo or Panasonic  or Samsung cells are the best and most likely what is used in the HP battery

Not Related to HP,  this company is a 3rd party, but they state Sanyo cells

3rd party but Samsung

I tried changing it to a different forum but it wasn’t working 😭. I am probably still going to change my battery in the end. Even if it’s still the same size. My current battery doesn’t seem to read the charge very well. Dropping from 100% to 94% in like a second. Imma still keep this thread up just in case someone does find a replacement battery for me that is bigger than the original. Thanks for the help though. I’ll keep the links you sent saved
