Hi,

I am planning o upgrade the SSD on my laptop. I am not sure if standard sized PCIe NVMe SSDs are supported or if they are the smaller ones. So, I have linked the product I plan to buy for the upgrade. It is a WD Black SSD stick ( link:

Just want to know if I can use an SSD of this size?

Thanks!

Regards

Siddhant

Hi Siddhant,

Yes you can use the drive you linked. There is no limit to capacity (so you could even use a 1TB or 2TB drive without any problem). Yes the size is correct (2280), all modern notebooks will take this size.

On page 30 of service manual you can see how to replace the drive

Hope it helps,

David
