I would like to upgrade the ram of My Device HP Laptop PC 15s-fq2000 (2D119AV). it has 8gb and I need more. here is what the manual shows:
Two SODIMM slots, not customer accessible or upgradeable
Intel Core and Pentium Gold 5405U and 4417U processors (Mine is intel)
DDR4-2400 dual channel support (DDR4-3200 bridge to 2666, DDR4-2666 downgrade to DDR4-2400)
Supports up to 16 GB maximum system memory in the following comigrations which I chose two 8gb ram.
now I want to know why it says not customer accessible or upgradeable, I can access it easily and it is removable also, I want to know where to buy good rams and the most important question would be what is the exact one that will fit and work properly on my practical laptop.
Thank you

What is your HP Laptop PC 15s-fq2000 (2D119AV) machine ? Normally that statement is for warranty. If something went wrong HP may not honor warranty, you would be on your own.
You are saying the processor on your machine is an Intel but Intel what ? You can install 3200MHz or 2666MHz or 2400MHz but at the end of the day your machine would run at 2666MHz max (depending on its Intel processor).
Regards.
