Product: HP ENVY Notebook - 15-ah151sa (ENERGY STAR)

I would like to buy a replacement battery for my HP ENvy Notebook 15-ah151sa Model no. 3165NGW. Currently, the charger only works when the computer is off and when I switch it on, my computer only has about an hour of life before it runs out of battery. I have already bought a replacement charger but this made no difference. Thanks in advance for any help offered.

Chapter 3 of the maintenance and service guide has the battery part number and description you need:

 

HP ENVY Notebook - 15-ah151sa (ENERGY STAR) - Setup and User Guides | HP® Support

 

Battery (3-cell, 48-Wh, 4.21-Ah, Li-ion)    HP part # 807417-005

 

HP does not sell the battery you need, so the only suggestion I can offer would be to so a search by the HP 807417-005 battery part number and find a compatible aftermarket battery that references that part number.

 

Check on Amazon or eBay for example.
