Is it an HP ENVY - 13-ah0043tu ?  It has 8 GB LPDDR3-2133 SDRAM (onboard). Its specs

     https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06079053

Did you know what is onboard ? It simply means RAM is soldered to the system board and not removable/upgradable.

If you wish, you have to buy new system board which has

(a) Motherboard,

(b) CPU / Processor

(c) new RAM

(d) New Windows license

Because all 4 above components are on one piece of hardware called system board. This will be a very VERY very expensive upgrade.

Regards.

Thank you for the confirmation! It is indeed a HP Envy 13, by the way.
