In order to upgrade your CPU, you have to upgrade the whole motherboard.  CPUs aren't plug and play like an optical drive.   That being said, you might be better off hollering at Intel directly.   They may do deals on motherboards, I honestly have no idea what they offer...  If you're gonna upgrade the motherboard, you'd be wise to upgrade the GPU while you're at it...
