hello this is my first post , like many of us i am working from home. I purchased my laptop from Walmart a few weeks ago. It has a I5 1035G1 processor , and for the most part I enjoy it . However with working from home I need to have more GHZ to run specific tools and to pass tests to retain employment. Is there any way to force the base rated 1.0ghz to 2.0 or higher safely? I have tried a few things, such as ( unlocking ultimate mode ,and adjusting the power settings) neither seem to remain consistent for normal usage . I understand under load is where the turbo boost will kick in, but for whatever reason those numbers don't allow me to pass a system performance test .
Any help would greatly be appreciated, to hopefully avoid return it.

You can not overclocking your machine manually, there is NO option for you to overclock it. It will work this out itself.
Regards.

Is there anything that can be done to up the performance so that i can adjust the performance . What i am running into is that I can't seem to get those certain applications to run properly. And, when I try to get the pc to push passed the 1.95GHZ mark it doesn't . It just runs fairly hot and the fans kick on, which is another issue I have but that appears to be a common thing with HP computers .

No, as mentioned above, no option for you to overclock your machine. Sorry I have not heard that.
Looks like you did not work out your requirements before go out to buy a machine. HP has hundreds and hundreds of different models/products, should be of them to suite your needs.
Regards.
