I upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10. Now I don't have the IDT Hight Definition Audio CODEC that I did before. I tried updating my drivers from Device Manager and from the HP Driver download site, but nothing seems to work. Please help. I especially need the Stereo Mix function.

Please try this : http://h20564.www2.hp.com/hpsc/swd/public/detail?sp4ts.oid=5257503&swItemId=ob_124404_1&swEnvOid=415...
Right click and uninstall the high definition audio device and Please try manual install
I also see Base System Device drivers missing, shown in other devices. Please get the DEV and VEN of it. Will try to get you the drivers.
Try this drivers for Base System Device driversand see if that helps: http://h20564.www2.hp.com/hpsc/swd/public/detail?sp4ts.oid=5257503&swItemId=ob_166654_1&swEnvOid=419...

Dear Customer,
Download the IDT Audio installer on the link below and save it to your Downloads folder.
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp63501-64000/sp63555.exe
When done, hold down the Windows key and press R
Into the Run window, type devmgmt.msc and hit enter.
In Device Manager, expand Sound, Video and Game Controllers. Right click the IDT device and select Uninstall - you should also get a prompt to remove the current driver, tick the box to allow this and then proceed with the uninstall and restart.
When windows has reloaded, open your Downloads folder, right click on the IDT installer and select 'Run as Administrator' to start the installation. When this has completed, restart the notebook and let windows fully load.

Thank you for the quick response. However, it didn't work. I got the following error message when I tried installing the file.
"The hardware detected is not supported by this IDT software package. The install will be aborted."
Also I should note IDT does not come up as an option to uninstall. Please see below.
