@Arthur-c starting a new thread here. I am using a HP pavilion p001tx notebook PC
A power IC near USB 3.0 ports on main mother board is burnt and laptop was not turning on so i have desoldered the IC and laptop is up and running again.
The only problem is i am unable to identify the replacement IC which is necessary to get my usb ports running.
There are three rows on ic as follows.
28206
MM-G1
435f2
Please help.
Regards
Mayur.

@mayur_h Welcome to HP Forums!
I'm afraid we don't recommend or support replacing IC's on the mainboard, that said, I suggest you talk to HP support and discuss your options:
follow the below steps to get started:
1) Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/
2) Click on "Continue as guest".
3) Enter the serial of your device.
4) Select the country from the drop-down.
5) Click on "Show Options".
Fill the web-form, to populate a case number and phone number for yourself!
Also, if you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty, if yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from,
