I lost the AC Adapter/Charger that originally came with the laptop when it was purchased, and so I am out looking for a replacement. There are a lot of available replacements online, and they're claiming that those are original ones. I am a bit anxious because it might damage my laptop once I purchased a wrong one. Can anyone give me tips on how to check/identify an original/authentic charger? Is there an online facility [e.g. HP website] where I can check the Serial Number of the product (charger) that I am going to buy, and verify if it is original or not? Thank you in advance for your inputs. Have a great day!
