My laptop power button is backlit but idk if the keyboard is backlit too the f5 button doesnt work and the key is litterally blank.

The notebook does not have a backlit keyboard which is why the F5 button has no icons on it and does nothing when you press it.

 

See the service manual chapter 2, page 12...

 

(4) Action keys Execute frequently used system functions.
NOTE: On select products, the f5 action key turns the keyboard backlight feature off or on.
