Startup test indicates "Imminent drive failure" of secondary drive (1GB SATA hard drive) which contains all my data.
(Backed up, of course)
Error code M0DX9K-9LHAHU-GXGKG1-61CC03
The notebook is less than 2 years old. The HP warranty has expired but I have a retailer's extended product care agreement. Problem is they'll take weeks to fix it and I need the unit for my work.

M0DX9K-9LHAHU-GXGKG1-61CC03 | OK | 8CG9xxx3N6 | 3/1/21 | 305 | Storage | Floppy Drive, Hard Drive, Memory Drive, Optical Drive, SCSI, Tape Drive | Hard Disk 1 Full Test Failure |
1 TB HDD costs maybe $80. We can provide you a manual and perhaps a video on how to replace the hard drive. Replacing it will not void the warranty. Since it is not even the system/boot drive it is an easy task. Just pop in the new drive and restore the data from the backup. We will need the specific model number.

I'm talking about doing it yourself. You do not want HP working on it out of warranty if you have a different warranty. HP Techs will take just as long to fix it and return it to you. Here is the Service Manual:
Pages 24-28 show "how to".
HP Service also will not install parts you buy yourself so you wind up overpaying for the part and they charge top labor rates.
Lastly, very difficult to get through if you are out of warranty because no phone number to call until you get way into the process after warranty check. I do not work for HP obviously.
