Well for some reason I cannot respond to the previous thread but I’m not getting my mom her laptop before Christmas. Thanks HP for being THE worst customer service company. I ordered on nov 26th. Laptop is still not here. Never doing business with your site again and will tell everyone I know what a nightmare it is.

Import clearance delay is the work of Custom, I believe none can do anything about that Anyway. I know all vendors including HP are trying to do their best to bring their products to customers. But with on-going Covid-19 pandemic, everything is unpredictable. I believe high priority now is vaccine therefore only God knows when things would be going back to normal.
Please wait, it will come.
Hope this makes sense.
Regards.

No this was HPs fault. They didn’t provide proper documentation and it sat for days. I ordered back in November. There’s entire thread about it. I’m disgusted by how they handled it. Fedex has been great but HP is a mess.

Unless I missed it on the other long thread with the same topic, my case is slightly different than those that are receiving (sporadic) updates through their "My order status" page. Bought an Elite laptop on 11/28 with an estimated ship date of 12/17, delivery estimate of 12/23. My status has never moved from "order confirmed" to even "order assembly" in 6 weeks. I've tried calling several times as the chat function is disabled, including today where I waited on hold for over 2 hours before giving up. I did reach a human a week ago who had no info for me but claimed that I would be notified of my order's status within 24 to 48 hours - no word, of course.
I understand the reasons why the units might be delayed. What I don't understand is HP's unwillingness to notify its customers, or at least take their calls. Unbelievable.
