Hi @Naveenb1402
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.
If your Windows key isn't working on your laptop, here are some troubleshooting steps to fix it:
1. Restart Windows Explorer
- Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager.
- Find Windows Explorer, right-click it, and select Restart.
- Check if the Windows key starts working.
2. Disable Game Mode
- Open Settings (Win + I).
- Go to Gaming > Game Mode.
- Turn Game Mode off, as it can sometimes disable the Windows key.
3. Check Keyboard Drivers
- Open Device Manager (Win + X > Device Manager).
- Expand Keyboards, right-click your keyboard, and select Update driver.
- Restart your laptop after updating.
4. Use Windows Troubleshooter
- Open Settings (Win + I).
- Go to System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters.
- Run the Keyboard troubleshooter.
5. Try an External Keyboard
- If an external keyboard works fine, the issue might be hardware-related.
- If not, it's likely a software issue.
