Good morning,
I have upgrated my HP Pavillon dv6 1058el from WindowsVista to Windows 7 and now with Windows10 64bit.
I want to increase the RAM memory.
Now I have 2 modules "2GB 2Rx8 PC2-6400S-666-12-E3" for a total of 4GB.
I want to install:
- or 2 modules of 4 GB for a total of 8GB;
- or 1 only module of 8GB.
Please you could tell me what and where to buy these new RAM module/s?
Thank in advance
Claudio

Well here is the problem. Your memory is DDR2 which is obsolete. They do make 4 gig DDR2 modules (not 8 gig) but a pair of them is going to cost well over $100US and perhaps as much as $150US. Too much to spend on a laptop that old.
