hey, i have a question. I would really like to play the latest games like ratchet and clank: rift apart. My laptop unfortunately can't handle it, I'm thinking of adding ram to my laptop to get 16gb, but I have a dual channel of 4gb each, so I don't know if I can have 4 + 12. And eGPU I don't know if this C port is thunderbolt, but even if not I'm thinking more of a card for example through Pcie in the motherboard unplugging the network card. I'm wondering if my computer supports it, because I heard that not all computers support it even if there is such a port, and what riser to choose? e.g. for gtx 960-1050 ti. and also such a problem I think I have a bios F.45 and in it nothing can be done I do not know if it will not block this external card even the recommended options in it can not be fired. Well, and then how to close the lid of the laptop because I have to route the cable from the motherboard somehow. please help i am green in this topic. SerialNumber my laptop: 5CD1052SXJ HP pavilion 15-eg0000

The USB-C port is not Thunderbolt compliant. So even though sometimes a pcie egpu can be used it is a very poor substitute and not recommended. You would have to modify the case to run the egpu cable in though the side of the case or run the laptop with the back off and I think you can see how bad of an idea that is. 12 gb memory chips are not a thing. Your laptop can likely run 32 gigs of memory; DDR4-3200 but additional memory will not help gaming framerates much, if at all.
