Hi I want to increase the RAM on my laptop by 16gb from existing 8 gb. I want to know if I can install another RAM card of 16 gb on the 2nd slot which appears to be free. The Ram card that I have in mind is as follows:
SK Hynix 16GB DDR4 PC4-19200 2400MHZ ECC REG DIMM Model HMA82GR7AFR8N-UH
Following are the particulars of my laptop:
Laptop Brand HP Pavilion
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-8250U CPU @ 1.60GHz 1.80 GHz
Model no. 7265NGW
Product ID 4BV52UA #ABA
S/N# 5CD 842DKW5
If the above RAM is not ok please let me know the configuration for the RAM which i need to buy.

Hi:
You definitely cannot install an ECC registered DIMM in your PC and it won't even fit because that memory is used in servers and business workstation desktop PC's.
If you want to install a 16 GB memory chip in the available slot, I recommend this one:
