Product: Example: Pavilion dv7
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I would like to upgrade to (2) 8 GB  for 16 total. Intel i5 core processor. Do I need something specific to this machine? Is this a plug and play type thing (or one with basic program walked thru) or something I should bring into a local shop? Any help will be appreciated!

There are many generations of Pavilion dv7  machines with many different models/products. What is yours ?  Please use the following instructions to find out the model/product of your machine:

My product # is X7028UA#ABA. I need 2 compatible 4 GB cards.

Product # of existing 2gb cards is M471B5773CHS-CH9.
