Product: HP EliteBook 840 G1 Notebook PC
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

The HP Detect My Device screen, located at https://support.hp.com/ca-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-elitebook-840-g1-notebook-pc/5405360/model/54053..., loads infinitely, I have tried waiting for hours at a time, however, it doesn't seem to function. Would there be a possible solution to this dilemma?

The page opened fine for me using Microsoft Edge.

 

I would be happy to post the direct links to whatever major drivers you may need (chipset, graphics, audio, ethernet, wireless).
