@Zerzokt,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I reviewed your post and I understand that the keyboard and mouse lag when connected to the Omen accelerator.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

What is the exact model of your Omen Accelerator?

I recommend update the USB driver from the device manager and check if it helps.

Here is how it is done.

  1. Open Start.
  2. Search for Device Manager and click the top result to open the experience.
  3. Double-click the category with the device you want to update.
  4. Right-click the device, and select the Update Driver option.
  5. Click the Search automatically for updated driver software option.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!

Quick heads up to you, OP. This is a well documented issue with not just the HP Omen Accelerator, but a few other eGPU enclosures as well. Oddly enough, I've had my Omen Accelerator for almost a year and just only started experiencing the dreaded USB input problems a week or two ago and so far it has only happened to me twice. The most annoying thing for me is I have an external Audio Interface that connects via USB and runs some studio monitor speakers and the audio interface started disconnecting frequently making loud popping noises every time it disconnected and reconnected because it also sets the volume to 100 when it reconnects. Your best bet for a short-term fix for this if you are still experiencing this issue is to connect your USB peripherals to an external USB hub connected directly to a USB port on your computer rather than the eGPU box itself. This issue seems to only occur for me when I'm gaming so it seems to be a bandwidth issue or a power supply issue - perhaps the power supply in the enclosure can't handle the video card running at full power plus the other peripherals?

Anyway, good luck.
