Victus by HP 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-e0000 (2V8Z6AV)

Dear HP Support Team,

I own an HP Victus 16-e0073nt laptop (model number: 68P42EA) and I would like to confirm the number of M.2 SSD slots available on this device.

Could you please provide detailed information about how many M.2 NVMe SSD slots this model supports? Also, if possible, kindly share any related documentation or specifications.

Thank you very much for your assistance.

Best regards,

Hi:

The model series has support for two M.2 NVMe SSDs.

See chapter 5, page 34 of the service manual.

Maintenance and Service Guide

Another forum member asked this question a couple of days ago because they had a doubt about the accuracy of the info contained in the service manual, but I posted a link to a video which shows the two SSD slot positions.

I may have written the serial number wrong, here is my serial number as a correction: Serial Number: 5CD25219MJ

It doesn't matter what the S/N of your laptop is.

The entire model series has two M.2 NVMe SSD slots.

The PCIe generation of both slots is 3.0.

A PCIe Gen 4.0 SSD will work fine in either slot, but it will not run at its maximum advertised read/write speeds from the Gen 3 slot.
