Hi @Bea1172,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

The Insert key is often located near the Delete key on traditional keyboards, but on laptops like your HP Envy x360, it might be integrated into a different key due to the compact size of the keyboard.

On many HP laptops, including yours, the Insert function is usually a secondary function on another key. Here's how to access it.

  1. Find the "Fn" (Function) key: This is usually located near the bottom-left corner of the keyboard.
  2. Look for a key with the word "Ins" or "Insert" printed on it. It's often located near the Home and Delete keys, possibly sharing space with one of those keys.
  3. Hold the Fn key and press the key with "Insert" or "Ins" printed on it.

This will toggle the Insert function on and off, allowing you to stop overwriting text when typing in documents or emails.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
