HP Pavilion - 15-bc314nf
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I want to update my Daughter's PC by adding a SSD M.2 on her HP Pavilion 15-bc314nf.

A HDD 1To is allready install with Win10 Home .

I Oppened it and I found the M.2 Port.

I tried to plug a SSD M.2 MVNe WD Blue SN570 (500Go) but when I turn-on the PC, it's not reconised by windows, nether by the bios.

So I tried to install a SSD M.2 Sata WD Blue SA510 (500Go), but same result.

Is there an action to do to open the M.2 port ?

Or is it an issue off SSD compatibility ? Which on sould I choose ?

(I don't find information about M.2 for this PC, only https://www.laptopspirit.fr/215439/hp-pavilion-15-bc314nf-pc-15-pouces-full-i5-kaby-gtx-950m-6go.htm...)

Thanks

(Herewith a picture of the PC with the SSD M.2 Sata WD Blue SA510 I pluged)

@Redg-Again

Unfortunately your machine only supports M.2 SATA SSD you can not use M.2 NVMe SSD.

Regards.

Thanks for this answers. Now I'm sure for MVNe.

But the M.2 SATA I tried is not detected to.

(Non New disc on Disc management)

What is the procédure to install a SSD M.2 SATA on this PC ?
