HP pavilion X360 14-BA009NS
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a HP PAVILION X360 14-BA009NS laptop and I would like to install a new SSD since the HDD which is currently installed is really slow. I would like to know if I could install an additional NVMe or if I have to replace the current HDD with a SATA SSD instead.

Thanks in advice

HP has not posted a Manual for this Model series but here is a youtube video from HP showing disassembly. There is an M.2 slot in addition to the hard drive bay but I believe it is limited to SATA M.2 SSDs.

I am unable to find any info that states yr laptop has a M.2 slot, couldn't find a manual or a screen shot of the motherboard.

I would therefore be inclined to go with a sata type SSD drive, which gives the pretty much the best gain (90%) in terms of speed, its only gamers that would want to take advantage of the NVMe higher speeds, but for everyday computing you wouldn't know the difference.
