Hey,
I've got an HP Elitebook 840 G6. I checked online and found I needed to install a wwan card to be able to use a sim card in this. I opened the laptop and checked it has the antennas and cables so thats all good. I checked the manual and it listed this one:
Intel XMM 7360 LTE-Advanced (CAT 9) - L15398-002
So I went online and bought a brand new genuine one with that part code showing.
I installed it in my laptop - go into bios and its listed in there and ticked to turn on, however when I boot into windows 11 I do not get any form of cellular option at all. I see wifi, ethernet and bluetooth but no cellular. I've checked and I cannot see a way to turn it on or off using the keyboard and in device manager I don't see a wwan controller.
Have I missed a step because I have no idea why my bios would see it and say its enabled and windows 11 just cannot see it?
This is my device manager
Any help please?
