Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Bonjour,

Merci.

Welcome to HP Support Forums. 🙂 I came across your post and would like to help.

I understand that you have an OMEN by HP Laptop PC - 15-ax015nf and have installed an SSD into it and would like to perform a system recovery on the SSD.You would like to have the Windows operating system on the SSD. I'd like to assist you with this case.

The recovery partition is on the SATA hard drive and it will perform a recovery on the SATA hard drive only. Using the recovery media (USB/Disks) you should be able to perform a system recovery on the SSD.  I suggest you to disable the SATA hard drive or remove it and begin the recovery installation so that the laptop does not enforce the recovery installation on the SATA hard drive.

If you do no thave the recovery disks then you may create them on your laptop. You may refer to this link to create the recovery media. You may refer to this link to know how to create the recovery media. Note: Though the steps in the link are for Win8, they would still work for Win10.

Hope this information is useful. Feel free to let me know how it goes. Cheers! 🙂

Sorry.

The translation:

Hello,
I bought an OMEN by HP - 15-ax015nf 3 days ago.
I just added an SSD.
I want to install windows on the SSD using recovery manager. But it never suggests to me on which disk I want to install it.
How should I do to reinstall windows 10 on the SSD and not on the hdd.
Thank you.
