This is not a question but rather a extension of a previous topic.
The previous topic was about installing Linux on HP Omen Transcend 16, and the fix provided by j0hnwang allowed people to make it work with firmware versions F.11 and F.12.
I was on firmware version F.27, and that did not help me. So I made a new fix myself, just wanted to share with other Omen users who may be coming in with newer firmware versions and no idea what to do.
My repo is a fork of the previously mentioned repo by j0hnwang, and I added a guide on patching the F.27 version, along with ACPI patches.
Check it out if you are having trouble: https://github.com/no-hands-hand/OMEN-Transcend-16-ACPI-fix-f27
Note that this is an ongoing effort and it's not perfect. Touchpad is working somewhat, speakers are working, wake from S3 sleep is working, and fans are somewhat working. I will be updating the repo as I improve the fix
