My laptop has a 1TB HHD, but I'd like to buy a SSD (Samsung PM961 256GB M.2 NVMe PCIe Internal SSD - OEM)

to use a dual storage configuration (SSD + 1TB HDD). My Idea is to run my system by SSD and keep the HHD to storage.

Can I keep both in my laptop?

If Yes, should I have any adapter, or is there a native conection?

If there is an M2 Sata port than you should buy it and setup windows on it. If not you should consider removing optic drive, move old 1TB HDD to optic drive port, install your ssd to other sata3 port. Buy a case and use optic drive as an external DVD Drive via USB.
