Hi:

I can't say 100% but I am very sure that 500 GB will be fine.

The 256 GB is only the max size that HP offered in that model series.

You can probably go even higher if you need to, like to 1 TB.

Let's try it! Let's see how it goes!

Tell me, this is useful for today, when I will install!)
When I install the SSD and the system on it, will I need to make any special settings !? I just read so many different things on the Internet ... For instance, on SSD can instaled only programs, not allowed save files, this can lead to its short work. It turns out that us need to rebuild the browser to save file to the HDD...!?
Plus, I don’t know what to do with Adobe programs, do I need to disconnect them update!? Or when working with Premiere Pro, the video itself should always be saved only to the HDD, itself SSD here do not use!?

Hi:

On some models the SSD won't work with a 2.5" hard drive.  See this discussion...

You should be able to install W10 and your programs on the SSD.

Yes, I will install Windows 10, I will delete it on the HDD.
And as I understand it, the BIOS will say everything, will it find or not the second HDD!? Correctly understand !?

Hi:

Yes, in theory, both drives should be recognized but you will have to see what happens.

Each model series is different.

I had no idea the other person would have those kind of drive problems in his notebook.

Clear! Well, we will try, I will show and tell the result!

HP Recommended

OK.

I hope that everything will go smoothly and as expected.

My order has arrived, but there is no bolt to secure the SSD for installation! Tell me, do they come with a kit?

I just don’t understand what size to take screws?

HP Recommended

That's terrible.

I would contact Crucial and see if they will send you a screw for the drive.

They include them with the SATA M.2 drives.  I don't know why they don't for the NVMe ones.

Chapter 5, page 43 of the service manual gives the size of the screw that you need...

Phillips PM2.0×2.0 screw
