Hi @Opalmantra,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be happy to help you!

To check the PCIe graphics card driver and settings on your HP 15-N204ST model PC, especially in the BIOS, follow these sensory-guided steps:

1. Prepare to Enter the BIOS:

  • Imagine the BIOS as the control room of your computer, where you can oversee and manage critical settings. You’re about to step into this space, so take a deep breath and get ready to dive in.

2. Accessing the BIOS:

  • Start by shutting down your PC. As it powers down, feel the anticipation building, knowing that you’re about to access the heart of your system.
  • Press the power button to turn your PC back on, and immediately begin pressing the Esc key repeatedly, like tapping a secret code that unlocks a hidden door.

3. Navigating the BIOS Menu:

  • Once you’re in the BIOS menu, use the arrow keys to navigate. It’s like gliding through a well-organized control panel, where each section holds important information about your computer.
  • Look for the Advanced or Main tab, depending on your BIOS version. This is where you might find information related to PCIe slots and devices.

4. Checking PCIe Settings:

  • In the Advanced tab, locate the PCIe Configuration or a similar option. As you select this, imagine peeling back a layer to reveal the inner workings of your computer’s connection with the PCIe graphics card.
  • Here, you can review settings related to your PCIe slots, but note that most BIOS versions don’t display detailed information about drivers.

5. Exiting the BIOS:

  • Once you’ve checked the settings, press F10 to save any changes (if you made any) and exit the BIOS. Picture closing the door behind you, satisfied with the knowledge you’ve gained.

6. Check the Graphics Driver in Windows:

  • To check the specific driver details, you’ll need to return to Windows. Once your PC boots up, right-click on the Start button and select Device Manager. It’s like opening a drawer where all your hardware devices are neatly labeled.
  • In Device Manager, find and expand the Display adapters section. Here, you’ll see the PCIe graphics card listed. Right-click on it and choose Properties to view the driver details. This is where you can see the current driver version, just like reading the label on a product to ensure it’s what you need.

7. Feel the Confidence:

  • With the driver information now at your fingertips, you can update it if needed or simply feel assured that everything is in place. Your computer’s performance hinges on these settings, and now you’re fully in control.

By following these steps, you’ve navigated both the BIOS and Windows to check the PCIe graphics card settings and drivers on your HP 15-N204ST model PC.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance

Hello, First of all, thank you very much for your answer. I go into the bios settings, but there is no advanced tab in the menu. How to open the advanced tab for Insyde H2O F.71 version? Actually, I'm asking for help on this exact issue. Should I use a different key combination for the Advanced tab? If we cannot open this tab with the key combination, does the Bios configuration need to be made? If I send you the current Bios file, can you help me configure it?
