Product: HP Pavilion x360 Laptop - 14-dh2011nr
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The integrated SD card slot on this new computer does not recognize sd cards.    I am unsure what device and driver to be looking at in Device Manager.  I see some references to people updating the drivers for Universal Serial Bus Controllers yet I also see an Intel SD Host Controller that may be the device?  Either way the devices installed and detected for both of these indicate they are up to date and functioning properly.   

Interesting that this is a new HP Pavilion x360 Laptop - 14-dh2011nr purchased about a month ago and everything else seems to be fine and I did not notice the the SD slot was not working till now.  And I would not have noticed this except that I was working on my mother-in-law's computer which I purchased for her about two months ago and it is almost the same model as mine and found the issue on her computer first.  This leads me to believe that something is not being configured correctly "out of the box".

Have you tried different SD card(s) ?
