I just bought a new HP Omen 15-dh0000nq, it's a freedos model with an SSD already in it and a HDD (1 To).
I opened it for the first time and tried to install Windows 10 on it.
The problem is : i only see the HDD, and no SDD.
I installed windows on the HDD so i can also setup all drivers and update the BIOS (thought maybe drivers and BIOS are not updated to see the SSD)
Everything is now up to date, and still no SSD in sight.
What can i do?
Maybe there is no SSD to start with (they gave me the wrong PC)?
Here is the config of the PC :

Thanks @Uli_vom_Karmel and @Erico
So i needed to do what i already did (update BIOS) But there was another step needed so the BIOS can reconize the SSD, it was the extended check of the hard drives (F2 in the boot)
After the extended check, when i rebooted, BIOS did reconize both SSD and HDD, so i just installed Windows on the SSD and erased the one in the HDD.

Hello @ddmarvin,
please, take a look at this document from Microsoft:
I always use the solution described as DISKPART method 1a (revised).

Part of what you supplied was helpful.
Boot to the Windows desktop. Hold down the Windows key and tap the X key.
In the menu that appears, right click the Command prompt(admin) or click on Windows Powershell(admin).
In the command prompt window type in diskpart and press the enter key to invoke the diskpaart utility.
at the diskpart prompt type in List disk.
Now you should see the disk configuration of your notebook.
If you do indeed see the SSD as present, not the disk number since that will be the one you need to convert to GPT format. Use the disk number you noted from the list disk command.
If you do not see the SSD as present, you will need to contact the vendor to have the notebook replaced with one that is configured as it should be.
