Hi @Dr_fachsec,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If you need the integrated webcam driver for your HP TrueVision HD webcam, you can follow these steps to download and install the appropriate driver:
Method 1: Using HP Support Website
Visit HP Support:
- Go to the HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads website.
Enter Product Details:
- Enter your laptop model number in the search box. If you’re not sure of your model number, you can find it on the bottom of your laptop or in the system settings.
Select Operating System:
- Choose the correct operating system (e.g., Windows 10, Windows 11) from the list provided.
Find the Webcam Driver:
- Look for the “Driver – Keyboard, Mouse and Input Devices” or a similar category. Sometimes the webcam driver might be listed under “Driver – Camera.”
- Download the latest HP TrueVision HD webcam driver listed.
Install the Driver:
- Once downloaded, open the installer and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
Method 2: Using Device Manager
Open Device Manager:
- Press Windows + X and select Device Manager from the menu.
Locate the Webcam:
- Expand the Imaging Devices or Cameras section to find your HP TrueVision HD webcam.
Update Driver:
- Right-click on the webcam and select Update driver.
- Choose Search automatically for updated driver software. Windows will search for the latest driver and install it if available.
Check for Updates:
- If Windows doesn’t find the driver, you can also try selecting Browse my computer for drivers and point it to the folder where you downloaded the driver from the HP support website.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
