I would like to replace my wifi card (Intel Dual Band Wireless AC 7260) with the most up to date card (perhaps Wifi 7?). What would be the best/current replace card for a HP ENVY 15-u010dx x360 laptop?

I can't find any discussions where anyone upgraded the Wi-Fi card in that model series.

 

The Intel card is a HMC form factor card and most of the newer model Wi-Fi cards are of the M.2 form factor.

 

I installed this model HMC card in my HP 350 G1 which has an intel 4th gen i3-4005U processors and it works fine.

If your notebook can support an different model Wi-Fi card, then it should work.

 

Some HP notebooks have BIOS whitelists which block the installation of cards not listed in the service manual and there is no telling if yours has that restriction or not.
