My Norton Software Updater  keeps asking for an update of an Intel driver.  Should I download it or has HP has its own driver to update.  The advice to update has this comment which is my concern:

"Installing this graphics driver from Intel may remove customizations from your
computer manufacturer (OEM)."

What shall I do???

Hi Miranda1948.

To properly answer your question, I have to know which version of windows 10 you have and also what driver your graphics is using now. To do that, you'd have to RUN Msinfo32 (windows key+R and then msinfo32 ENTER) and note the "Version" on the first page (System summary). Then, click on Components->Display and note- "Driver Version" there. Post them if you like so I can see what you're running with now.

However, I have to say that the short answer to your question "What shall I do???"   is.......nothing. You don't actually HAVE to do anything. You don't have any graphics related issues, no windows issues, no nothing. So, if you want to UPGRADE your driver that's fine, but there's no pressing reason for this. Post back if you have further questions....

Thank you so much for replying to my email.  I decided not to do anything about the upgrade, as you say that I do not have any graphic related issues, no windows issues", everything is working fine.

Thank you again.
