Does every laptop with Intel® Core™ i3-6006U have integrated GPU?
Like for example this one:
https://support.hp.com/ro-en/document/c05444478
And I need help to decide which laptop to buy.
I found 2 similar models. Only difference is RAM and GPU.
HP 250 G6 (2EV81ES) - 8GB RAM / i3 6006u / Intel HD (520 I Assume)
vs.
HP 15 ay020nm - 4 GB RAM / i3 6006u / Radeon R5 M430 2GB
I alredy know both GPU's are bad for gaming and I don't plan to play games a lot but I heard that R5 M430 has better picture overall quality.
Does R5 M430 drain a lot more battery than Intel HD? Does R5 M430 heat more?
I know that M430 has passive cooling so I guess the noise level would be the same.
Which laptop has better overall quality HP 15 series or HP 250 series?
Help me decide.
Thanks a lot.

You ask very good questions. Frankly what tips the scale for me in favor of the first one is 8 gigs RAM vs 4. Intel HD will run most low spec games at low settings but I do not know those games and you need to check out minimum specs. A lot of games look for a certain amount of dedicated video RAM and even though the Intel HD could run them they will not launch.
Nothing else you described depends on powerful, dedicated video memory...certainly not music production which has no visual element to it. That depends om memory and CPU.

These are very good questions. Yes the laptop with the AMD R5 video will also have an Intel HD video chip and the two video systems will be "switchable" so most of the time the Intel will be driving the bus. You set up the switchable graphics to kick in the premium video system when you launch certain programs like games or maybe google earth if you like Open GL mode and not DirectX mode.
The laptop fan will kick in and it will drain power faster when the AMD video is working but you will want it to do that. Otherwise power consumption and cooling needs will be the same. Picture quality will be the same. The Intel HD is plenty strong enough to drive a high res monitor, stream youtube, play DVD movies, etc.
Unless you are gaming or doing something like video editing or CAD 3D modeling the Intel HD is fine for a business laptop.

I need a laptop mostly for basic programming but I might install some low spec games like CS GO or Dota 2, maybe music production software like FL Studio etc.
If you were me, which one of those 2 laptops would you pick?
And one more question. With 2 switchable GPUs, do I need to setup when they are switching or does the computer recognize when to use one or another?
